Jahla in the Kuwait Desert:
In the Kuwait Desert, “Jahla” usually refers to a plant called “Alhagi graecorum”. This plant belongs to the Fabaceae family and is adapted to arid desert environments. It is common in the Middle East and North Africa.
Jahla plants are able to survive in extremely dry and poor soils and have a well-developed root system that helps absorb groundwater. They play an important role in the local ecosystem, providing habitat and food sources for animals in desert areas. In some cultures, parts of this plant can be used as fodder for livestock.
